Waterview Winter Music Festival – Terms & Conditions

Waterview Winter Music Festival (“the Event”) is a live music festival held at Baffle Creek Retreat, Queensland, delivered by DC World Entertainment, in conjunction with FESTURI – A Multicultural Celebration Inc and Baffle Creek Retreat (“the Organisers”).

By purchasing a ticket or attending the Event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Event Disclaimer available on the Waterview Winter Music Festival website.

Event Overview

The Event is held over multiple days and includes live music performances, camping, food services, and associated festival activities.

Tickets & Entry

All tickets must be purchased through authorised ticketing channels. Tickets are valid only for the date(s) specified.

Three-day passes provide access to all festival days. Day passes provide access only for the specific day purchased.

Tickets are non-refundable except as required under Australian Consumer Law. Tickets must not be resold or transferred for commercial gain.

Camping

Camping is available only to ticket holders who have purchased a valid camping option. Camping spaces are limited and subject to availability.

Tent, caravan, campervan, powered and non-powered sites are available.

Campers must comply with all site rules, safety instructions, and directions from Event staff.

Fires are permitted only in designated fire pits and are subject to weather conditions, local restrictions, and safety requirements.

The Organisers reserve the right to remove any camper who breaches site rules or safety directions without refund.

Creek & Water Safety

Baffle Creek runs adjacent to the Event site and is not a designated swimming area.

The creek is a natural waterway and may contain wildlife, including bull sharks.

Attendees must not swim, enter, or access the creek at any time.

Failure to comply with this safety requirement may result in removal from the Event without refund.

The Organisers accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from non-compliance with this condition.

Event Changes & Cancellation

The Event program, performers, schedule, and amenities are subject to change.

The Organisers reserve the right to alter the program, change event times, or substitute performers as necessary.

No refunds will be issued due to artist cancellation or program changes.

In the event of cancellation, refund or credit arrangements will be determined in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Entry Conditions & Behaviour

Attendees must follow all instructions given by Event staff, security personnel, and emergency services.

The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person engaging in unsafe, disruptive, or illegal behaviour.

Illegal substances, weapons, or prohibited items are not permitted on-site.

Alcohol & Drugs

Alcohol may only be consumed in designated areas. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol.

Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited and may be reported to authorities.

Children & Minors

Waterview Winter Music Festival is an all-ages event.

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. The Organisers accept no responsibility for unsupervised minors.

Health, Safety & Risk

Attendance at the Event is at your own risk. The Event is held in an outdoor, natural environment.

Attendees should take care around uneven ground, water hazards, fire pits, weather conditions, and camping equipment.

Weather

The Event will proceed in most weather conditions. Attendees should prepare for variable weather.

No refunds will be provided due to adverse weather unless the Event is cancelled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Photography & Recording

The Event may be photographed or recorded for promotional and marketing purposes.

By attending, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, or voice in event photography or recordings.

Personal photography is permitted. Commercial photography requires written approval from the Organisers.

Personal Property

Attendees are responsible for their own belongings. The Organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Event’s Privacy Policy and may be used for event administration, safety, and communication.

Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket or attending Waterview Winter Music Festival, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the Event Disclaimer.
